Whats the proper way to keep body out of starvation mode and to keep metabolism from decreasing? pls read?
I am trying to drop 2-3 pounds of BODY FAT in a month of time. I am a boxer and am quite fit just have a little belly fat in the abdominal are and coach needs me to drop the body fat. I wanna drop the fat without loosing any or too much muscle tissue. To keep my body out of starvation mode and keeping my metabolism where its at now.. do I eat my BMR calorie intake which is 1750 for my weight heith and age and do cardio to burn those few hundred calories.. cause I heard that if u dont eat at your bmr level of calories u will slow ur metabolism and go starvation.. but then again I've heard completely different. The second way... do I just restrict about 300-500 calories from 1750 without any cardio and go about the day..??? Whats the proper way to do this.. again losing FAT and maintaing most of muscle and keeping metabolsm from droping?? PlS HElp
